Woman falls into drain on St Vincents Road
An elderly woman has been rescued after falling two metres down a drain in Sydney.
Fire and Rescue NSW received a Triple 0 call at midday that a woman had fallen into a drainage canal on St Vincents Road, Lane Cove.
Rescue crews from Narrabeen Fire Station responded along with a crew from Lane Cove Fire Station helped retrieve the woman, after she fell about two metres into the canal, a Fire and Rescue spokesman said.
Paramedics treated her at the scene for head injuries.
